Evaluates and analyzes all aspects of Compensation through Total Direct Compensation data for Executives and Department Heads. Under general supervision from Manager, administer Signet Group and Sterling Executive Compensation programs, including Executive salary analysis, annual merit process, Long-Term Incentive programs (LTI), and Deferred Compensation (DCP) consistent with Plan documents. He/she will also serve as the internal plan resource to Plan participants, Department Management and Senior Executives regarding Executive Compensation matters. Essential Job Functions: * Evaluate Director and above positions to ensure market competitiveness and maintain internal equity. * Conducts compensation studies, monitors market trends and participates in third-party compensation surveys to maintain a competitive Executive Compensation program. * Based on achievement of profitability targets and program guidelines, coordinate the calculation and payment of Home Office Director and above bonus payments. * Partner with Signet to insure recordkeeping is maintained effectively for LTIP and assist in automation process. * Maintain accurate eligibility for LTIP and DCP (new hires & promotions and terminations & demotions). * Develop communications which reflect Plan provisions and execute communications in a timely manner. * Coordinate DCP operations with Finance, Payroll and vendor(s) as appropriate and assist in automation process. * Work with HR Department leadership on Plan document modifications and specific issues as necessary. * Partner with Payroll to confirm “Specified Employee” status on an annual basis. * Maintain accurate records of the “Code for Securities” eligible executives and designated Team Members. * Serve as the primary contact to answer Executive questions related to Plan documentation and processes maximizing on-line resources and communication strategies. * Support the development and dissemination of Plan communications with Signet Group and Senior Executives. * Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job. * Perform other duties as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Education/Experience - Bachelor’s degree in business or demonstrated skill set to meet the requirements of the position. - Prior executive compensation programs experience with public company preferred. - Experience working with executive compensation including basic plan design, compliance requirements (409A, non-qualified plan structure, equity compensation, tax implications, etc.) and executive program communications. - Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation and/or specific executive compensation training desired. * Skills - Strong project management skills. - Excellent relationship building skills, experience working cross-functionally and ability to communicate effectively with executives, vendors, and outside parties as necessary. * Equipment Used (Tools & Technology) - Advanced analytical skills and MS 2007 Office Suite capabilities (Excel/Access/PowerPoint/Word)
