If you’re interested in taking your career to new heights, we have an immediate need for a full-time Contract Sales Representative/New Business Development in Shreveport, LA. The focus is on growing our business in the area by selling inspection and preventive maintenance contracts (contract sales) and direct sales of our services. This individual will be accountable for establishing and maintaining sales call routines consistent with branch goals in assigned territories, contacting and further qualifying the target sales list, maintaining monthly contact with key accounts and building effective customer relationships. The job will involve qualifying all new prospects, monitoring the credit control list, and assisting in collection efforts when necessary. Individual will be responsible for maintaining quotation log and submitting logs monthly.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field OR equivalent knowledge gained through relevant experience · Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals (2-years of experience in service-related sales required) · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills · Valid drivers’ license with safe driving history · Comfortable working at heights 6ft – 40ft above ground
