The Sr. Vice President of Human Resources reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The Talent Acquisition leader will report to the Sr. Vice President of Human Resources. The position has 2 fulltime recruiters reporting to them, a staffing coordinator, and the reception desk. Also has a virtual recruiting team as well. Synaptics is a highly energetic organization that requires multiple types of HR support. This role will align closely globally with the Human Resource Business Partner and internal functional organizations.

Core responsibilities

·               Lead global Talent Acquisition Strategy

·               Manage and develop a global recruiting team

·               Build WW Development of global talent pool

·               Market and Brand recruiting programs

·               Development of WW University Relations Program including Campus Recruiting.

·               Professor partnerships and an Interns Program

·               Insure WW Hiring goals and strategy in line with the AOP

·               Conduct Headcount Reporting and Metrics reports

·               Lead WW hiring of key employees

·               Immigration management for US employees

Secondary responsibilities

·               Network with industry gurus and icons

·               Drive our Diversity Initiative

·               Market and Brand recruiting programs

·               iRecruitment support and management

·               Vendor Management (external and on-site agency)

·               Establish and manage the staffing budget and associated metrics

·               Develops Talent Funnel: Web sites

·               Support internal blog site “HR 2.0”.

·               ISO leader staffing

·               Development and management of SYNA career site

·               Reception desk

Required Qualifications

·               BS/BA

·               MS or MBA preferred

·               Dynamic High Tech or other industries that are emerging

·               10-20 years of proactive / progressive Talent Acquisition experience

·               Complex problem solving and engagement with multiple internal customers

·               Fast paced organization growth and change

·               Balance between entrepreneurial and professional management
