Synaptics PC Division (PCD) is the leader in capacitive touch technologies with in excess of 70% market penetration in notebook PCs and is extending its technologies into new markets. Responsible for strategic planning, development and coordination of outbound marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the PCD business and sales objectives. Consults and partners with Division inbound product marketing/management and sales departments in support of trade show activity and direct marketing targeted to the PC Ecosystem: OEM, ODM, and partners.
Manages strategic OEM activity within the PCD Marketing group including developing and delivering external product and program messaging, product demos, supporting RFI/RFQ activity and owning and driving resolution to closure of specific issues working closely with engineering team. Main point of contact for field for customer escalation issues.
Contributes to product definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Monitors the development of overall PCD business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans that are customer and consumer ready. Integrates product platform technologies into a cohesive customer portfolio. Involved with market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs and direct customer interaction. Develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Involved in new product definition and business plans with joint departments.

· Creative, motivated individuals with excellent communication skills.
· Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with 2-5 years PC OEM experience.
· Skilled in PC technologies & solutions including: Windows/Linux, Internet and Consumer Electronics products for digital home, media & entertainment;
· PC Distribution and channel sales and marketing experience.
· Multi-Lingual to interface with Asia customers a plus.
