Job Responsibilities

·         Design and develop small footprint embedded firmware for use in Synaptics’ products

·         Work closely with members of the firmware team and cross functional teams to develop quality products

·         Investigate problems and identify robust solutions quickly   

Required Qualifications

·         Excellent written and verbal communications skills

·         Must have the ability to work with geographically diverse teams

·         BS or greater, preferably in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related field

·         Minimum of 10 years experience in real-time embedded software development

·         Minimum of 10 years of code development using assembly language and a higher level language like C/C++

·         Experience with digital signal processing is a plus

·         Familiarity with analog and digital systems, ADCs, DACs, sensors
