The Semiconductor Product and Test team is searching for a self starting, hands-on, team oriented, Test Engineer with experience in DFT, writing ATE test programs, using DFT/ATPG tools, and running digital and analog simulations in a design environment. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for part of the DFT specifications as well as developing tests on ATE equipment starting with test vector generation and verification in the design environment and then carrying those vectors over to validation, characterization, and production testing. Additionally this individual will contribute to design validation, characterization, and production release of a quality product to high volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Generation of validation, characterization, and production test plans.
- Work closely with Design Engineering (both digital and mixed-signal) to assure DFT and test coverage.
- Develop and verify ATE test vectors in the design environment and integrate those into an ATE test program.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot ATE tests during silicon validation, characterization, reliability, and production testing.
- Schedule tasks and goals to complete work on time that meet all specifications.

Required Qualifications

- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (MS preferred) with 5 or more years of industry experience in either Digital Design or Test Engineering required.
- Must have extensive knowledge on backend pattern translation and pattern generation.
- Must have extensive knowledge in the development of scripting too(s) for pattern generation, data analysis, and automation.
- Experience running Digital Design simulations
- Strong programming/scripting skills in either C/C++, or Perl
- Experience with mixed-signal products and testing.
- Experience with vector conversion software tools with playback capability.

- Experience with DFT/ATPG tools like TetraMax and DFT Compiler or FastScan and DFTAdvisor is a big plus.
- Experience with EDA tools like Synopsys VCS/DVE and AMS or Cadence NC tools are a plus.Experience with LCD display driver products.
- Experience writing Verilog is a big plus.
- Experience with capacitive touch sensing products.
- Design verification related experience desired.
- Experience with Teradyne or Advantest ATE, specifically the Teradyne J750 and the Advantest T6372.
